Double Storey Dream

Drawing on the era this Brunswick brick veneer was originally built, the two-storey extension and full renovation is adorned with timeless fixtures and full of class. Every room is well thought out and has been given considered attention to shine in its own right. With too many impressive features to mention, here’s just a few of the basics;

The staircase is a carpentry masterpiece perfectly accompanied by a custom-made black metal balustrade. A hidden linen press lies underneath –  a practical yet aesthetic move

A skylight bathes the main bathroom in natural light highlighting it’s half height curved tiled feature shower wall. Flush cavity sliders here and through many spaces maximise space

The kitchen is every chef’s dream, with feature curved island bench, Calacutta polished marble benchtops and quality appliances. Through a full height custom cavity door, a space saving laundry is combined with the butlers pantry

The master suite dominates the upper floor and is superbly appointed with a reading/study room, full custom joinery walk in robe and an ensuite to die for. Light and airy with a generous highlight window, it also features a double shower, double vanity, free standing bath, brass fittings, feature and full floor to ceiling tiling and is completed with a stylish barn sliding door

To contrast the original brick exterior, the double story extension is clad with vertical cement sheet lining in a dark natural green. A large rear deck with skylight filled roof creates the perfect BBQ entertaining spot.

This project is the perfect example of what can be achieved through renovation over building new. It oozes charm and timeless sophistication, that homely feeling knowing life has happened here for decades, and thanks to Joncol, will for many, many more.
