Pulling apart this old extension it was obvious a few shortcuts had been taken in the past. Many of the walls needing replacing or additional supports added in. Lots of work you just can’t see now it is beautifully renovated home!
From a ramble of rooms in the rear, the bathroom has been relocated closer to the bedrooms and an open plan kitchen/dining/living space created. The rear was fully opened up with sliding French doors for indoor/outdoor living. New windows in period style were installed to project much needed light into the space and the neutral tones throughout allow the light to bounce around and make the space feel larger.
The kitchen, full of draws is super practical, clean and crisp in a white 2pac finish. Glass pendants over the work bench compliment the open clean lines. Custom joinery to the living space surrounds the fireplace and makes a cozy atmosphere for watching the wall mount TV.
The bathroom boats a freestanding tub, large niche, open plan shower and custom vanity with stone benchtop. The small euro style laundry has been designed to fit brooms and tall items on one side of the joinery unit and a wall hung vacuum on the other. French doors give full easy access to the space.
