Worth The Wait

After a rather lengthy permit process the owners of this West Footscray family home were very excited to see the Joncol team smash down the dodgy old lean-to and make way for their new extension. Keeping the more traditional elements to the front of the house, the extension is clad with the ever popular axon cladding and features black aluminium framed windows drawing sunlight into all the right places.

Inside the extension space sits a striking kitchen in Laminex terril complemented by white stone benchtops, black appliances and sink and gooseneck tap. The kitchen opens onto a flexible living/ dining space which is white, bright and completed with polished hardwood floors tying back to the original part of the house.

Just off to the side, a new family bathroom has been fitted with a freestanding bath, brushed nickle tapware, semi frameless shower screens, stacked subway tiles, and timber look vanities with tall mirrors. Joncol also fit a new laundry with a custom made cabinetry leading onto a second bathroom complimenting the main.

From the new dining and existing living areas, new large sliding doors open onto the rear alfresco drawing you out into the rear yard. With spaces now well appointed for family life, the Owners have been thrilled at the transformation and look forward to making lasting memories in their more liveable family home.
