We love our new home. After a fire which destroyed our beautiful home at 1am on Cup Day 2021 we struggled to get our heads around what we would do. AAMI paid us out and we decided to bite the bullet and rebuild. We took control of the redesign aspects as we wanted to go next level and we selected Joncol as our builder. It wasn't an easy task as first the demolition stage needed to be done. Sifting through the soggy ashes of our past was awful and quite emotional. But the team at Joncol focused on the task at hand and pushed on while we dealt with our demons and getting our lives back on track. Rebuilding a destroyed house is a totally different emotion than doing "Your dream Renovation" , which we had done 10+years before. As a hands on creative couple we were probably not the easiest client Jon and his team ever came across. However they were always patient and the quality of their workmanship speaks for itself. I believe we now have a stronger and better build than before and the outcome is everything that we wanted.
